24 weeks/ 3 days

I swear I will do a regular non-pregnancy post one day for anyone who isnt interested. Ha!

Things have been good! I'm feeling good, just tired. I am starting to get a little nauseous from all the movement of this little girl. She's busy in there!

We have had some progress on the nursery and Dave is suppose to finish putting up all his stuff today. Maybe we can start painting soon! I have a few ideas on what I want it to look like, I DID find her bedding though :) Thanks Mom!

No official name yet, still working on the life long commitment of naming her.

Doing pretty well weight wise. Haven't gained anymore since last week, even though I feel like my stomach grew.

We go back to the doctor Tuesday, looking forward to it! :)

23 weeks and 2 days

This dress is the best. I wish I would have bought another one in a different color. Dang it.

I feel huge. I know I'm not, but still, I feel like I am.

This baby is kicking like crazy! When we were watching the Hunger Games, this baby either loved it or hated it. Ha! The movie was amazing by the way. It followed the book pretty well and I was not disappointed in the least. Although, the book is by far better, so read it first if at all possible. It will literally take you like four hours if you are like me and love anything political and different. Pretty much draws you in from the beginning, at least it did me.

I need to go buy a few more maternity dresses and a few pants. I was trying to hold off until I got out of school, but it's just not going to happen. Blah.

So, picking a name is so much harder than I thought it'd be. I have a name I love, but I think my problem is a sense of commitment. I've always been like this though, over think everything and try to come up with all options before committing. Ha! Hopefully I can share her name soon :)

We are starting on her nursery this weekend. There's a lot of work to be done though.

Today is exciting because I get to leave school early and head to a wedding shower for a friend I've known since kindergarten! And Leslie gets to join mom and me since she's in town. Woohoo!

22 weeks

We are 22 weeks pregnant! That's nuts!

Feeling pretty good except for a pain in my left foot when I sleep. I'm assuming it's stretching out, but if it doesn't stop, I'll be calling the doctor. Just weird! Let the swelling begin though! My hands and feet are on their way........as long as I don't get cankles.........we'll see!

Baby is as big as a spaghetti squash (have NO idea what that even is, ha!)

Wearing maternity pants and dresses.

It's a girl!!! Verdict is still out for a sure name......

I've gained 23 lbs. Boo.

Baby is moving like crazy! We started looking at furniture and crib bedding. We have GOT to get to cleaning the baby's room out. Ugh, makes me tired just thinking about it.

On another note, I have 8 weeks left of school!! That's crazy! Im so ready to be done and free up some time. I'm trying really hard to stay motivated and just graduate!

Also, only six days until we get to see the Hunger Games!!!!! I'm reading the book AGAIN because I want to remember it all. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

21 weeks

So, if you're my friend on Facebook, you know we went to the doctor yesterday! Everything looks amazing, baby is measuring perfectly to the week. Healthy baby is a good baby!

Baby is as long as a carrot!

I'm up 22 lbs. Ugh. I should choose to just not look anymore.

No major cravings this week.

It's a girl :) Name, we think, has been decided. Stay tuned!

Best Moment: seeing the baby and finding out the sex. Now, we can shop!

At least she will always have great hair! This whole cosmetology thing may work out after all! :)

Half way done!

I'm 20 weeks! That's half way thru this pregnancy. Could I BE more excited?

Let's see, I've gained about 20lbs. Boooooo. I'm feeling good, besides itchy skin and tired feet, I'm in good shape.

No cravings, although I've been eating a ton of salads and fruit. Target has the best salads and lunch packs. Nectarines and
grapes have ranked pretty high with me.

I'm still in normal clothes for the most part besides two pairs of maternity pants. Mom and I scored some super cute maternity dresses though!

Best moment of the week? Feeling the baby kick, BY FAR. Now, I feel it all the time. Makes this whole pregnancy thing real and worth it. Dave LOVES to feel the baby.

Say a little prayer baby Petty cooperates Tuesday so I can start shopping! :)
