Eight Months Old

Eight months already?!! 

Colbi, 

You such a great baby. Very easy going, pretty happy, and are getting more and more fun by the day! You are wearing 6-9month clothes, size 2 diapers, eating every 3.5-4hrs, and sleeping pretty consistently through the night. You like to wake up and talk, sometimes cry because you need a little cuddle from Momma. You are usually asleep for the night about 7:30/7:45 and wake up about 7ish. You still take 2-3 naps depending on what's going on that day. We aren't super strict about your schedule, Mommy likes that. 

You are rolling around everywhere still and like to put yourself on all fours and rock, so I don't think crawling is too far away. 

You developmentally are right on track. The drop it game has become quite popular. You love toys that light up, pop up, or rattle. You're pretty smart, you study stuff for awhile before moving on to the next thing. That includes people. You aren't a super picky eater. You've had lots to eat and only thing you really don't like so far is peas. You can pick stuff up like a pro! Puffs & Cheerios are the best. Separation anxiety is kicking in I think, you definitely know when we enter or leave the room. And, you cried when we dropped you off in the nursery this past week. You've said "mama" and "dada" and lots of other sounds. You love to hear songs, especially your bible song CD. We love you so much Colbi and enjoy watching you grow!
